Child’s Voice – Child’s Voice is a listening and spoken language program for children with hearing loss. We are located in Wood Dale and Chicago. Founded by a group of dedicated and determined parents, Child’s Voice provides children with hearing loss the opportunity to learn to listen and talk.
District 205 Foundation – The District 205 Foundation was founded in 1989 to create and enhance educational opportunities and is dedicated to innovations in education and advancement of excellence in our classrooms. We fund education that develops citizens, keeps kids in school, intensifies instruction, and prepares kids for their future. We cannot do this without you!
DuPage Easter Seals – Our mission is to enable infants, children, and adults with disabilities to achieve maximum independence and to provide support for the families who love and care for them.
Elmhurst Family YMCA – The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is an inclusive, charitable Association, founded on Christian principles and dedicated to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities through programs that develop spirit, mind and body.
Elmhurst Children’s Assistance Foundation – ECAF’s goal is to assist families who have a connection to, or reside in our community, where a child’s life is impacted by a serious medical or disabling condition. As unpaid medical expenses mount, the emotional impact on the family may seem overwhelming. Through the community’s generosity, Elmhurst Children’s Assistance Foundation is able to provide these children with financial assistance and to let families know they are not alone. All names and information provided from families in need are held confidential with ECAF.
Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation – The Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation exists for one reason: to raise funds to support the Hospital’s programs and facilities.
Elmhurst Police Explorers – The Elmhurst Police Explorers program orginated in 1982 and is sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America. The Explorer Program is designed to provide opportunities for youths between the ages of 14-22 years of age to learn and participate in careers in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement.
Elmhurst Yorkfield Pantry – Started in 1983 by some concerned people at Yorkfield Presbyterian Church who saw a need to help hungry people in their “own back yard,” it has grown from an infrequently used resource to one that now helps an average of 300 families a month. For some of our clients, the assistance is temporary. Other clients are among the chronically poor and elderly who use the food pantry regularly.
Special Kids Day – Special Kids Day has evolved into a not-for-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing celebratory events for children with disabilities and their families in environments designed to accommodate their special needs.
United Community Concerns Association – UCCA targets Elmhurst District 205’s most needy children and provide food referrals, and services to them in an effort to fight hunger. Ours is a ‘neighbors helping neighbors’ approach, driven by volunteers and powered by a generous community and dedicated partners.
